They only care about themselves, really. I don’t like saying bad things about other people but that was such a shitty move. They can’t read the atmosphere and interpret it the way they want. They always do that and always try to turn everything around to make themselves look like poor little victims bullied by destihellers (boo boo) who keep WEE WOOing them.

I mean they even say that we are the oned threatening J2 and are the reason why they have security. Us.

They also say that we hate Jared. Which is so damn far from the truth. We can get mad at him because he too often lets his mouth run without thinking first. But that’s not hate. If someone we love says something stupid, we tell them. That’s what we do. We don’t put them on a pedestal and always defend them even if they are wrong.

But really, that night was the worst thing. They couldn’t even say no or deny anything because 1) they are fans and 2) I’d be afraid of the consequences of it which is such a bad thing. Nobody should be afraid of retaliation but we have records that bibros really do get revenge if they don’t get what they want.

so a few months ago, one of them set up a charity event to benefit j2’s fund that they have through RA, except that’s not how things work legally so they set it up to benefit a charity directly. set to be auctioned off? wincest/tinhat items.

this event took place at jared’s bar btw which is such a space invading move, that i can’t even properly explain how disgusted i am with it.

anyway, fast fwd to the event. the mayor shows up because they also invited him. j2 do too and i assume it’s because their freaking mayor was there.

they had three copies of their tinhat book. one each for j2 and one for the mayor. luckily, as admitted by them, jared took the third one. BUT IT WAS TOTALLY BECAUSE HE WANTED IT FOR HIMSELF THO TOTALLY NOT BECAUSE HE WAS EMBARRASSED

they all claim he was ok with it. it’s bullshit.

one last thought: for a group of fans that 1. say they respect j2 and 2. tell destiel fans to keep the ship in fandom, they sure do have a problem doing either.

There were so many ways it WASN’T okay, so many reasons they COULDN’T say no and make a scene. Famous haters were floating around their wives; it was a PR event with the mayor of Austin there to benefit both his campaign and SPN’s publicity itself and any major scene they pitched would be viral and negative press in an INSTANT. They were like trapped rats in their own home turf, clearly miserable when not actively being with Adler or their wives, and in EVERY ESSENTIAL WAY this was an EXTREME invasion of personal space.

Let’s wrap our heads around that for the next time they go off on a tirade over Destiel stickers observed by handlers in a fan-space designed for enjoying parts of the show about “shoving ships down their throats.” REALLY, GIRL. You didn’t just try to shove it down their throat. In their home. with no handlers, YOU TRIED TO SHOVE IT DOWN THEIR MAYOR’S THROAT.

And then when Jared runs off with the whole armful of them, probably to salt and burn in the nearest fire safe dumpster, they spin it as him wanting them all. Because… logic. Perfect sense.

I’m not even going to TOUCH on the brain-vacancy required to be unable to discern “being able to be upset at someone we like over insensitive commentary” from “hate and want him gone from the show.” That point has been beaten down ad nauseam.

And there’s this reply from @casgirlsam which is also on point as fuck. Not only do they try to justify it with “what hellers do” to excuse behavior they otherwise would consider shitty, but they actually largely fabricate and project that behavior presumptuously, then use their own projected behavioral issues as their further excuse of a downward spiral. And the funniest thing even their most desperate attempts at projection->excuse still somehow fail to manage to outclass the next shitty step up they take like the San Jac bullshit we’re talking about.
