Notice that it’s republican Women saying that. Can you imagine what their high school experiences were? If they publicly state that all teenage boys try to rape teenage girls? What does that say about the teenage boys they knew? What does that say about their relationships now?
Their statement is meant to downplay the seriousness of attempted rape. And it shows that the reason these women don’t think it’s that serious is because to them, this behavior is normal, it’s expected, and they don’t know why other women are upset about it.
This is how the patriarchy works. Men hurt women, men convince women that it’s not hurtful, men amplify women’s voices when it suits their needs, and men get off scot-free because “these women are pro-rape, get them out of office, doxx them, slash their funding”
It’s men. Men working through the women they’ve successfully broken and rebuilt.
Her argument is terrible and it comes from a presumption of guilt.
Y’all can’t make up your mind if you want justice or if you want a system where we can destroy people based on unfounded allegations. You’re using the same justification as an old south lynch mob from the tribal outrage to the presumption of guilt and you’re too obtuse to realize it. The alternative explanation is you’re deceitful scum who have never been motivated by justice.
There’s zero inconsistency of values here: rape and sexual assault are wrong. They should not be implicitly condoned as “normal” and something “boys just do.” People who sexually assault should be held accountable for their actions and should NOT be appointed to the highest court in the county.
That’s all not hard to follow. YOU (all on the right) just wanna be the victim here so bad. Using the lynching of black people as a comparison to powerful white male rapists being exposed??? That is beyond fucked up and gross.
Also the same people who are excusing kavanaugh are probably the very same people who (wrongly) accused trans women of being evil,dangerous perverts that are out to rape cis women in washrooms and demonized refugees as rapists.

It’s not about justice. They don’t care about it at all. This farce wouldn’t even be happening otherwise.
It’s about power. They want the power destroy lives they don’t like without question. They see him as a threat to their power to kill without repercussions, so they’re trying to destroy him as much as they can.
So yeah, they’d absolutely lynch him. And they’d call it justice, because they’d still have power.
YUP not getting one of the most important jobs in the US gov is TOTALLY the same as lynching, you racist, misogynist, insuffereable seeping trash can of wasted DNA.
