My students are up to something. They keep coming up to me and handing me pieces of fruit, and when I ask why, they just smile cryptically and say, “Don’t worry about it.”
Like, the apples I get. That’s a teacherly thing to give. But one of them just straight up handed me a grape.
I took a sick day today and sent an email to the first girl to hand me a piece of fruit, asking if I could have an explanation now.

Just before my first class of the day, one of my students came floating in, a black cloak billowing behind her, hood pulled low over her eyes.

Apparently this was the result of a number of my students playing Truth or Dare at a birthday party. I’m not sure which one of them came up with “I dare you to confuse Magistra by handing her a piece of fruit without explanation”, but I 100% approve of any thought process that ends with me getting free food.

I probably won’t find myself using this but for my followers: if you can’t handle this shit, USE THIS. If you think a movie or tv show may be hard to watch, do your homework.
Speaking as a pretty burned-out yet weirdly die-hard Supernatural fan, I have taken breaks from the canon, I’ve been heavily critical, I’ve quit and come back, it’s kinda cyclical, but I don’t hang around to obsess over how ruined everything is each and every week, I go and then catch up again. And here we are at 14.01 and I’m still watching the darn thing and I even came back to tumblr just to make this post because there are things happening that are worth the trip.
Sam & Dean and Dean & Cas running neck and neck As It Should Be imo. Flay me now. I love both duos. But I’m sure others will love to vote their preference.
Honestly aside from the 2 things I mentioned that she directly messed up – the car not being in 14×01 and calling Jack “Nick” – there weren’t errors so much as what really came across as tells about how much she doesn’t care about the rest of the story, how she doesn’t REMEMBER parts of the story, even stuff she wrote, or just generally her POV on a lot of things which is so wild when it comes to emotional reasonings or what she cares about… Brad’s interviews were entirely coherent and even interesting or well-reasoned to the point where it wouldn’t be immediately obvious he was part of a problem if you didn’t know he was connected to it… She is the one who loves Lucifer and feels he’s misunderstood, she’s the one who wanted Ketch back even though he had been a 1 season character who fully and excellently served his purpose and wasn’t needed back (as usual, no shade on DHJ, who is marvellous and it’s not like it’s his fault for taking the job when offered) and she’s also said the actor who played Donatello is a personal friend so you can bet she’s why he ended up in the show and also coming back. I actually started to find her kind of fascinating because her character was so strange that I’d want to know more just to even begin to grasp what her deal is. Like, I’d choose to sit across from her at a dinner party just to prod her with leading questions about the arts and politics and feminism and just let her talk, you know? 😛
