They took all of Dean’s things, a lot of the things that make Dean who he is, and they were going to burn it all–which is pretty significant when you consider the implications of a hunter’s funeral.
And then Dean throws Cas in there, too. And he was going to leave him. That’s when Cas stands in front of it all and says, “Dean. Stop.”
“Dean. Don’t abandon who you are. If you leave this room, I no longer know you. If you leave this room, you’re leaving me here with who you used to be. Dean. Stop.”
