I fail to see how that “joined by everything” line is anything more that a jab from a demon and I really don’t understand fandom meltdown. Can you give your positive spin on this?

I fail to understand how someone who has never met them pointing out that literally EVERYONE thinks that Cas and Dean are “joined at the… gestures at Castiel’s dick… *ahem* everything” is anything but the gayest gay to ever gay.

Coming from a demon who has never met them. Insinuating that all of Heaven and Hell think Dean and Cas are boning. As a consistent addition to all the previous characters who’ve said things like:

– He was your boyfriend first

– The one in the dirty trench coat who’s in love with you

– The moment he laid a hand on you he was lost

– I know you’re hoping he will return to you

– YOUR ANGEL

etc etc etc…

Literally – a demon they have never met – hears about it in the rumor mill. Hears about it loudly and often enough, he delivers it the way he did. Some random, punkass crossroads demon knows about this as a thing.

Is it technically still “subtext” how he knows these? I mean, sure. In the same way that if I have never spoken to your Nonnie, but go and start talking a thing about Nonnie’s personal life to them, obviously, someone told me something about Nonnie. Unless we, what, want to imply he’s a mind reader and… glossed… that… anyway?

The simple fact is, both heaven and hell already assume they’re boning. Anyone who tries to say it’s “not in the show” is about ten miles from base at this point. Anyone who says we see something that isn’t there are literally accusing at least all of heaven and hell of being wrong about that too. Okay, I guess they can all be fallible, but the simple idea of “you just queerbait yourselves and nobody puts it in the show” is such a dead wank point anyone who says it should be embarrassed.

That was ironically a HUGE statement, because it was even bolder than the angel threat of dick-cutting. They spared nothing in getting everything in the shot, directing focus verbally to it, and even cueing an awkward silence to highlight it. Anyone who missed that moment is doing so intentionally.

I’ve seen people saying that Heaven and Hell imply this only to make them uncomfortable so it actually diminish Destiel so I’m just going to add something. They do it only with Dean and Cas. They could imply Sam is the one sleeping with Cas but no they always go for Dean and Cas even when they barely know them and never met them like Kipling in 14×01.

This. The concern trolling on that is outright ridiculous. It’s a target to them because it’s *targetable.* Almost like there’s something different there. Almost like Kip’s dialogue even made a point to separate the two, explicitly. Call it “to annoy them” or “diminish it” but fam, literally all of heaven and hell know there is something different about these two that even make that a viable “shot” to take. And let’s not get into the subtext of the angels implying they would castrate him over it. Do you really think that’s just a shot “to annoy them”? Yeah, homophobes threaten to castrate people while implying they’re gay just to annoy them all the time. People just walk around doing this. This is how they insult people if they really don’t think anything is there, by threatening to chop their dick off anyway. Makes perfect sense.
