I swear, every time a Destiel shipper says they don’t like a certain female character on the show, specifically: Meg, Amara, Jo, Anna, Lisa, or Hannah, they get accused of being misogynistic. They have to explain in great detail why they do not like the character and when it comes to Meg especially they’re told they’re just an idiot and Meg was a good character and great for Cas and that they just don’t like her because of their ship. Like what the fuck is wrong with M*gstiel shippers? Why can’t they just accept the fact that Meg did terrible things and people have good reasons not to like her or to not want her to be with Cas? 

…honestly, same. 😅 I could never bring myself to like Meg even after her “redemption” episodes just because of all the stuff she had done before. She took Sam’s body on a joyride for like two weeks, ffs.

👏 Meg’s redemption wasn’t a fucking redemption 👏 didn’t Lucifer’s fake ass redemption remind anyone of anything until it came to the last minute decision to give her a nice ending within ONE episode for Rachel’s sake?!

Urgh. Meg never EVER regretted the murders, possession, sexual and physical abuse she dished out. She never repented. Ergo it’s not a redemption. No matter that in one last ep she might have said she was “kinda good” and called Cas her unicorn. She never apologised or accepted she had behaved badly and addressed the bad she did. That’s the whole point of redemption. End of.

• Hate Destiel
• Love (or pretend to love) Meg Masters
• You have to love (pretend to love) Rachel Miner
• Doesn’t matter if you hate Cas or Misha
• You just can’t hate on Meg/Rachel. That’s a deal breaker.

I mean, I’m a Megstiel and a Destiel shipper, and the Megstiel thing is mainly because she was an interesting character. That doesn’t necessarily make her a good one, but still.

I apologize for your causing your stress. I like Megstiel too, but I think it’s very unfair that some of the shippers will accuse Destiel shippers of hating Meg because of their ship when that’s far from the truth. 

We are aware of what meg did and all, but I saw Meg like other villain that you can’t hate, like Crowley, Rowena, Amara, And so On. Like Meg did had feeling for Cas, and Cas too, and that is not wrong because dean has had his ‘things’ with girls why Cas not? I mean I am a Destiel shipper, hell Meg herself was a Destiel shipper, but Cas had the right to have his little demon lover 🤷🏽‍♀️💚 i still cry her dead 😦

the problem in the current fandom climate is not people who love shipping megstiel because it’s fun. the problem is that bronlies, the people that loathe cas, are all about how wOnDeRfUl megstiel is

some people that were neutral about it are now having to mute the damn word on twitter because they’re so tired of bronlies pretending they like a ship. like we haven’t seen them spend literal years spewing their vile hatred for anything cas related and spend their time trying to get misha fired because they didn’t like cas.

bronlies are saying they like it for the very reason the project on to us about destiel: it takes cas away from dean. that’s the only reason they have been cooing about wanting rachel back to play meg. it’s just so there can be a megstiel power couple and no destiel.

destiel shippers are not the issue. the issue, as it almost always is, is bronlies.
