Okay so I still haven’t found the translation of the infamous “I love you; I love all of you” scene in French, but it will obviously be gay.

But why, Céleste? You may ask.

Well, you see-

Because of all the translation posts on my dash obviously.

Now, in French “you” can be translated by either:

• Tu : singular
• Vous : plural, or when you speak with respect to a person (like the president, your teacher, or someone you don’t really know)

Now, my point is that the scene would have to obviously be gay or it would make no sense.

If Castiel says first “Je vous aime,” (I love you, PLURAL) it will obviously be plural because he knows who the Winchesters are.

But in this case, he can’t say after “Je vous aime tous” (I love all of you) because that makes no fucking sense.

It’s already plural, you don’t need to add the fucking second part.

The only logical phrasing is:

“Je t’aime” (I love you, SINGULAR)

He pauses dramatically, there’s the zoom on Dean.

“Je vous aime tous” (I love all of you, PLURAL)

Normally, we should all agree that this ⬆️ makes more sense than this ⬇️:

“Je vous aime” (I love you, PLURAL)

“Je vous aime tous” (I love you all, PLURAL)

So yeah Destiel is canon in every languages except English apparently
