Okay, so, some of you have already read My View Of Destiel – which treats fandom events in a critical timeline. But while there were other floating elements I was aware of, some of which I even mention in said discussion, something just clicked into my head.
You’ll see on the thread that, to the inflammation of shippers, I outright said that I believed the network was thoroughly oblivious before the Chad Kennedy explosion wherein, he waltzed into twitter, got asked about Destiel, was totally oblivious, got bombarded when he said they didn’t intend it, but said he’d be okay with it if it came across his desk. Then I mentioned a certain fangroup (who’s names I mostly leave out to avoid them getting dragged) making sure it did, by mailing out multiple copies of certain books.
