So this year, SPN gave us

• An episode of 2 Deans and 2 Cas, including loss, coping, and “I know who you love”, or DestielSquared
• Cas is Dean’s win/reason to keep living
• Tombstone and everything in it
• Dean has faith (a spinabout from 4×1 with its own parallel parallels)
• Wayward and independent women
• Bobo confirms Wayward LGBT ship/Destiel parallels was “what they wanted us to see”
• Scoobynatural
• Charlie
• BuckLeming mirroring their own quasi-flirtation of Destiel from 10×3 on what it looks like if there’s an anti-flirtation instead (13×18)

Like, is this just the year of “give the gays everything they want”? Cuz… there’s only a few more on that list and if it’s open possibility for endgame to avoid other issues (like a quarter of the fandom deciding that’s a sufficient Ever After for them and leaving it there before they get screwed up), I ain’t gonna pitch an early fit.

I feel like I’m missing something in this list.

I’ll throw “honorary Sabriel shout” even if it was heavyhanded and I wasn’t a fan of the bunker-side dialogue in general that episode.

Shit like this is why I feel like endgame is truly possible though. Ramping this all up right now then yanking the no homo rug before launching Wayward with its clear target demo would be like shooting themselves in the foot.
