After Alexander Calvert’s interview where he states Jack and Cas’ otherworldly, profound connection will transcend worlds, I can’t help but think about the way Dabb is taking so much past canon and making it more blatant (and specifically the romantic subtext of Dean/Cas).

I’m reminded of Amara feeling Dean’s longing for Cas through his heart then suddenly and so coincidentally finding Dean where she couldn’t before hand… how this happens again only when Dean hears the word “Angels” too.

Then of course how she immediately uses Cas as bait for Dean, showing him how bad he looks and telling him he’s in trouble, purposefully spurring Dean into action. Later then actually full on telling Dean he’s holding back from something, stopping himself from having it all.

And of course with everything else that keeps coming back up I’m definitely expecting the profound bond at some point…

Perhaps Jack feels and uses Dean’s longing and profound bond to find Cas thanks to his powers and his own bond with Cas too…

Who knows, it would be a far fetched fantasy if Dabb and co weren’t already being so heavy handed with the fanfic 😉
