I feel like Jared and Jensen are just terrible when it comes to keeping secrets about what’s happening on the show. Like, they always give us some inkling of what the tone is like for what they’re filming on set. So do you think, if Destiel goes canon, we’ll see signs from the actors dropping hints about it, accidental or not? And do you think Jensen’s “fallen angel” line could be a sign of that?
I don’t like to say that “its going to be canon” or anything like that from anything that isn’t in the actual show you know? and even in the show i’m still endgame positive with a hint of who knows, not saying hey its gonna be canon in s13.
I am however interested in seeing the general level of no fucks givenanymore about all this and how it seems to have turn up a notch of no fucks given since they started filming and reading s13 scripts…
A. Cockles being a total gross nightmare and them and Jared not even trying to hide themselves or Destiel related references and jokes
WTF was the Jared:“I fell in love with a demon” “oh then I’m a fallen angel” thing Jensen?
B. It not even being a tiny bit of a secret and subtextual that Dean is grieving and a total absolute mess in early s13 about Cas? That he falls to his knees etc? That he prays? That he wants to shoot Jack in the face? That somehow this ‘spoiler’ is not even a spoiler as it is just… fact? So what exactly is left for the subtext????
C. the narrative of the show leading us to think that this death and mary being back was going to lead to realisations for Dean and… apparently already being confirmed that it is and the season hasn’t even started yet.
I just… I have to wait and see, I’m not going to say it’s a “sign” and that people should expect anything, but… I am intrigued as to quite wtf they think the writers of the show and the cast are doing right now through the actual writing and just on top of that the nice addition of the cast shenanigans if it isn’t leading to this.
