With support from the UN Development Programme (UNDP), UN Environment and UN Volunteers, Recicla Vida, an association of recyclers in the district of Arequipa, Peru, re-imagines and resells what used to be waste.

Together, they collect about 400 kilograms of waste every day, but recycling and its benefits are still not appreciated by Peru’s citizens.
